Hi, I’m Maria, a former professional ballet dancer, ballet teacher and mother of two young children living in Länsi-Pasila.
After many years of performing and teaching ballet, I wanted to create something special for local families. As a mother myself, I know how important it is to find meaningful activities where children can learn, move and have fun together with a trusted adult.
Satubaletti was born from my love of dance and my desire to share the joy, creativity and magic of movement with young children and their families.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we try the class once?
Yes ! A special trial class will take place on Friday 7th of August.
What do we need to bring to class?
All you need are comfortable clothes and a water bottle. If you have long hair, please have your hair in a ponytail. Children are welcome to wear a light leotard, ballet skirt, and ballet slippers if they wish, but no special dance wear is required for this class.
Can siblings join?
Yes, siblings are welcome and there is a 10 per cent sibling discount for semester registrations.
In what language is the class?
The class is mainly thaught in Finnish, with a little bit of English included.
What is the cancellation policy?
Registrations are binding for the semester, as places are limited and small group sizes are important for the class. However, if your child feels uncomfortable after the first couple of visits, please contact me and we can discuss the situation together.
How does the billing work?
After you register, you will receive an invoice by email. Your place in the course is reserved upon registration. You do not need to pay at the moment of the registration, the due date will be after the first class.
